Edmond, OK (April 6, 2009) -- Edmond Medical Center is hosting a Look Good, Feel Better class, targeting women who are battling cancer. The two-hour class will offer hair and makeup techniques that specifically focus on changes that cancer treatments have on the beauty routine. A certified cosmetologist will be leading the event and participants will be able to try on a variety of wigs, as well as receive a complimentary makeup kit. The class is free to women currently undergoing cancer treatment and reservations are required, as each person gets makeup specific to them. Additionally, EMC is encouraging women to bring a female friend to share in the event. The class will be held Monday, April 27 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Classroom 1 of the Ambulatory Care Pavilion.
